Musical pillars of Hampi

Hampi is the finest example of craftsmanship from ancient times. Musical pillars are one of the biggest attractions in Hampi, the main ones are in the Vitthala temple complex. The tour guide has shown me a few of them, and then I started discovering more and more Musical pillars by myself in the ruins of Hampi. I spent the rest of my day finding pillars that produce music. The pillar in this video is from the Achyutaraya Temple complex, I found this particular pillar produces the best tonal variations and tried experimenting with the pillar, and my co-traveller recorded me making music with these pillars. A year later, the History Channel featured this film in their television show.
