Interactive AR Filter – Costa Coffee
OBJECTIVE:
Costa Coffee aimed to promote its new Maple Hazel drink range by engaging younger, tech-savvy consumers in an interactive and fun way, leveraging Snapchat’s augmented reality (AR) capabilities.
CONCEPT:
Costa Coffee created a Snapchat Lens that doubled as a mini-game. The game used a Costa Coffee cup at the bottom of the screen, controlled by the user’s head movements. Maple leaves and hazelnuts rained down from the top, and users had to catch five of each with the cup. Once achieved, the cup transformed into Costa’s new Maple Hazel drinks, visually showcasing the product.
